West End Neighborhood Shirt

Officially established in 1893, it is rumored to be Nashville’s first urban neighborhood. The area later became a suburb and was one of the biggest visions for westward residential expansion. In the late 1800s, the neighborhood was a 140-acre gated community with lots no smaller than one acre, ranging up to three. According to a Nashville publication in the 1890s, there were plans to put outer fences and gates to surround the entire development and to render it protected from intruding the public. Since then, West End has blossomed into a bustling and popular neighborhood thanks to its extremely convenient location and charm.

Popular and well-known restaurants in this area include Bricktops and Flemings. From chains to locally owned, this area is full of fun places to dine, drink, and relax.
